1. What CENSOOS is
CENSOOS is a free social guessing game. You read a short statement written by a player or by us, choose Agree, Neutral or Disagree, and guess how many of the other players chose the same answer as you. Then you see how everyone answered.
CENSOOS is in a public beta: an early version that is still being tested. Features, statements, points, rounds and records may change, be reset or be removed. The service may be unavailable at times, and it may end.
2. Who may play
You must be 16 or older. You confirm this yourself when you first play; we do not ask for documents or a date of birth, and we cannot verify it. If you are under 16, please do not play or submit statements. See the Age Eligibility Policy.
3. Playing as a guest
You play without an account. When you start, an anonymous guest identity is created for your browser. It is not linked to your name, email or phone number.
Because the guest identity lives in your browser:
- clearing your browser data, using a private window, or opening the game in another browser, app or device starts a new guest with no history;
- we cannot restore a lost guest identity or move it to another device;
- your answers, points, rounds and records belong to that guest identity only.
4. Points, rounds and daily records
Points measure how close your guesses were. They have no monetary value, cannot be exchanged, and are not a prize. The daily best is a playful challenge: players answer different statements, so it is not a fair or exact comparison of ability. We may correct, reset or remove points and records, for example after a technical fault or misuse.
5. Results are not research
Results show only how the players who answered so far chose. They are not representative of any population, are not a poll, and must not be presented as survey or research findings.
6. Statements you submit
- You must have the right to submit the text, and it must follow the Community Rules.
- Every submission is checked automatically, partly by an AI service, and may be published, held for a person to review, or rejected. We may remove any statement at any time, including after it was published.
- Statements are shown without your name, unless you chose a public nickname where that option exists.
- Do not include anything that identifies you or another person.
- You give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to display your statement in CENSOOS, to translate it between Hebrew and English, to make small edits for clarity, and to use it in aggregated, anonymous results. [LEGAL: scope and duration of the licence, and what happens after deletion.]
7. Community Rules
Respectful disagreement is welcome. You must not use CENSOOS to:
- attack, insult or demean people or groups, including for their religion, ethnicity, nationality, gender, sexual orientation or disability;
- harass, threaten, or encourage violence or self-harm;
- name, describe or make claims about private individuals, or share personal details such as phone numbers, addresses, emails or ID numbers;
- make unsubstantiated accusations against identifiable people;
- post sexual content, or anything that harms or sexualises minors;
- promote illegal activity;
- post spam, advertising or links, or try to manipulate the game, its limits or its automated checks.
The short version is in the game: "Challenge ideas. Respect people."
8. Reporting and moderation
After answering a statement you can report it from the result screen. You can also contact us at hello.censoos@gmail.com about any statement, including ones you did not answer, and about anything urgent. Reports never remove a statement automatically: a person decides. We may remove content, and limit or block guest sessions or networks that abuse the service. [LEGAL: notice-and-takedown procedure and response times.]
9. Fair play
Do not use bots or scripts, create guest sessions in bulk, get around limits or the bot check, or interfere with the service or with other players.
10. Sharing
When you share a statement, the link and its preview show the statement, never its results. What you send through other apps is your choice and is governed by their terms.
11. No warranty; limitation of liability
The beta is provided "as is" and "as available". Statements are written by players and do not represent the operator's views. [LEGAL: limitation of liability wording permitted under applicable consumer law; liability for user content.]
12. Privacy
How we handle data is described in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
13. Changes and ending
We may change these terms. We will show the updated version in the game before it applies. We may suspend or end the beta at any time.
14. Law and contact
